Palestine — the New Auschwitz

The prosperous industry of militarism reigns supreme once again, as Israeli tanks, state-of-the-art weapons, bombs, cement walls, and barbed wire make life miserable for Palestinians, if they’re lucky enough to have survived the approved terrorism of the Israelis, that is. The occupied retaliate with their measly sticks and stones and name-calling in an attempt to drive out their illegal oppressors while the United States and the United Nations glibly look the other way.

Israel, the grand and glorious promised land, is sought-after by the four major religions of the world—Catholics, Jews, Christians, and Muslims—each claiming a rightful piece of the holy dirt, and each proclaiming their god as supreme and biased in their favor.

Little modern Hitlers, the Israelis have made Palestine the new Auschwitz, and seem to take great pleasure in the pain, death, and destruction they perpetuate in their endlessly senseless routine to claim the ground they claim their G–D gave exclusively to them. Or could it be that their cruelty is misplaced; or that their revenge is just now surfacing after the unforgettable atrocities they suffered at the hands of the Nazis, Gestapo, and stupefied world populace that sparked World War II?

While the United Nations and Israel’s allies (such as the United States) continue to ignore the man-made rules against this illegal occupation in Palestine and The West Bank, women and children die daily in the Holy (puke) Land of Abrahamic worshippers. By allowing such atrocities to continue, we all contribute to the crimes against the oppressed. Professor Ward Churchill was crucified by his similar remarks in the aftermath of September 11, six years ago. Today, he might be esteemed as a possible presidential candidate.

Meanwhile, back at the check-point border of Egypt and Palestine, Muslim families waited sixty days in and around their buses for re-entry to their land and homes. An estimated 36 people died due to lack of medical attention, or clean water, or adequate food supplies, or inhumane disinterest in general. Babies were born and then not allowed to re-enter the homeland of their fathers and mothers. Wives and children were left behind as a few of the men were allowed ‘back in’ to safe-guard what’s left of their homes and businesses.

Of course, the U.S. is doing the same thing in Iraq, prompted by the ‘voice of god’ and passed on through the lips of his so-called chosen ones. The Taliban murder one-at-a-time (South Korean hostages at present) while Israel’s nuclear stockpile protects the asses of U.S. military and private military corporations in the Middle-East. I don’t expect to see any major changes in the very near future, partly because U.S. leaders are so busy getting elected they haven’t time to protest against their perpetrating brothers.

Again, the silence of the American people, regardless of political or religious affiliation, seals the fate of those at the barrel end of some ‘heroic patriot’ wanna be. Too many of the dead are women and girls while purple hearts are passed out to the Good Old Boy killers like clearance-sale Easter candy.

Not only are these reprehensible crimes against humanity approved by the holy co-conspirators of the Judeo-Christian-Catholic crusades of the 20th and 21st centuries, they are justified and applauded by the majority of men everywhere. Coffers of the elite expand as economies crumble under the weight of 65% unemployment, destruction of transportation, communication, and infra-structure, cessation of education, and loss of human dignity in Palestine and other war-splintered territories where the starve ‘em out or kill ‘em mentality prevails.

At last, however, the women of Israel and Palestine have proclaimed their partnership in ending the hate-mongering power of men so staunchly entrenched in the slimy, snaky pits of poisonous but glorified politicos. If you’ve the stomach to witness first hand the ‘pleasure’ of seeing someone’s son or daughter beat to hell by gangs of merciless Israeli ‘warriors,’ just click on the link below. First though, you may want to locate a barf bag and a box of tissues. I dare say, I’ll never salute another fluttering flag or drop another shekel in the velvet-lined collection plates of the so-called vindicated victors.

Sweet dreams, y’all…
